Dana Reyes

Barrister, Solicitor, Notary Public, and Personal Injury Advocate

Dana obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, with Honours from the University of Toronto. Since obtaining her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University on a scholarship track, Dana Reyes has worked exclusively in the areas of plaintiff personal injury and
insurance litigation.

In 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 Dana was awarded the Certificate of Excellence for top personal injury lawyer in Markham, York region. This award is based on the extensive evaluation of customer reviews, ratings, history, satisfaction, trust, cost, and general excellence in the practice of plaintiff personal injury.

Dana advocates on behalf of injured victims on a wide spectrum, from chronic pain, catastrophic cases, accident benefits, slips, trips, falls, head trauma and brain injury to short-term and long-term disability claims, ODSP matters, along with other orthopedic cases. Dana has extensive experience handling complex liability cases, life altering personal injury claims, and has dedicated her career to helping people achieve justice.

While in law school, Dana served as president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) and assisted the vulnerable and elderly at an Estate Planning Clinic. After graduating from law school in 2011, Dana moved to San Francisco, California where she served as the executive judicial clerk to the Honorable Judge Stuart Hing at the Alameda County Court.

After returning home to Toronto, Dana began to focus on personal injury, first with a prominent downtown Toronto personal injury firm and then as senior counsel for a distinguished personal injury firm in Markham. She has appeared before various levels of court in Ontario and other administrative bodies. Dana has successfully removed victims unduly placed in the Minor Injury Guideline and Threshold categories by insurance companies to the Non-Minor Injury and Catastrophic categories allowing for greater access to benefits and compensation for victims.

Dana is fluent in Tagalog and Pangasinan. She is an advocate not only for the Filipino community but for all those who may not understand their rights and obligations in the complicated legal process.

Committed, compassionate, and pragmatic, Dana is also a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.

In her spare time, Dana enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring culinary delights.
